Do not let these figures fool u. It is tougher to get the marks than u think.

Subjects no. 6 – 9 however have an on-going assessment w/out going through the final exams.

Books.

I can’t advise much about the subjects because different lecturers have different method of teaching & different books to refer. If you still have books from your studies during BLS (Hons.) it’ll save u some money rather than spending on new books.

Anyhow around the 2nd – 3rd week every semester there will be a book fair at the faculty. Be sure to standby around RM1000 for books & statute which you will be using for.

Oh well, that’s the general idea of what LLB (Hons.) UiTM is all about. For those who have gone through the course, congratulations. For those who’re about to enter it…be prepared for a whole new ball game.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mshahreza.blogspot.com/2010/05/llb-hons-uitm-professional-programme.html' title='LLB (Hons.) My family & all of our extended relatives were celebrating the 80th birthday of our granduncle Mohd Ghazali Bin Mohd Seth known to our relatives as Pak Uteh, Tok Uteh or Tok Tan, but he’s more familiar to me as Tok Uteh. The event was held at KLGCC Bukit Kiara. It housed most of our fellow Johorean family which comes from the bloodlines of Seth – Abdul Rahman – Onn, who were related by blood & marriages and were once a great name in Johore back to its early formation until Malaya’s independence. The event started around 12pm and end around 5.30pm. Uncle Jaja @ Reza Ghazali was the emcee of that day handling most of the talking until the very end of the celebration.

(Tok Uteh being greeted by family members at the hall)

My family arrived at the KLGCC around 11.30pm. Arrived early, I had the opportunity to meet and greet all my aunts & uncles whom we were not often see due to our busy schedule. After chatting with them for few minutes, I realized that there were some people missing. “Where are all my cousins?” Aunty Nina @ Rowina Ghazali replied, “They are all getting dressed up and preparing for the dance show” and I was like “What?!”. I was totally shocked to hear this, but I’m sure it’ll be great for Tok Uteh seeing that his grandchildren will be performing something for his birthday and not some hired dancers. Probably they were inspired by Sasha Bashir’s ‘Dansa’ show :-).

(Cultural dance performed by Aliya, Marissa & Ilyana)

After the cultural performance by my cousins, all the guests were allowed to take the food served by way of buffet. While eating, we were entertained by a 20mins video clip of Tok Uteh / Tok Tan compiled by Aliya, Marissa & Ilyana. The clip shows the story about his early life until he retired as a General in the Malaysian Armed Forces. The video clip was definitely entertaining. I stopped eating the whole session just to enjoy it because it’s not often for you to get to see the rare old photo albums of your granduncle.

(Unc. Jaja @ Reza Ghazali the emcee of the day)

Next, the event was followed by Quizzes. The questions were mostly about our dear granduncle. Some of the questions were; 1. What’s his full name? 2. What doesn’t he eat? 3. What’s his motto in life? 4. What was his nickname when he was young? Etc. To answer these questions, each of us were required to flap our wings, not raising our hands. I manage to answer 1 question. Yana present me a gift for manage to answer that question. It was a box of chocolate! Woohoo! J

(Playing BINGO with my siblings)

After that, we were all given a BINGO card to play with. Though some people manage to get hold of more than 2 cards to increase their chances of winning the game :-p It was definitely an entertaining game. My little brother Mohamed Ridhuan Firdaus aged 7 years old were the youngest person to win the BINGO game that day. It was definitely the talk of the people! What a lucky fella!

(2nd cousins reunited)

Nearing the end of the event, we took once whole big family pictures. The elders & their offsprings, me & my cousins etc. I guess it could have been the biggest tagging picture ever I had. Sadly though the picture was not taken by my camera but some hired professional photographer hired for that day. Oh well, it’s a matter of time til I get 1 copy of it.

(The General's grand-nephew)

Anyway, it was a great day. Tun Dr Ismail was given a heavy task for being the person who was responsible to bring Malaya to the recognition of the United Nations. Nevertheless things goes on smoothly & the Federation of Malaya was admitted to the world body’s by being 82nd member on the historic day of 17th September 1957.

(The grandnephews, granddaughter & grandsons of Tun Dr Ismail)

Generally speaking, this book covers much of him being a diplomat to the Washington D.C., USA before returns to Malaya in 1959 and continues to serve as the Minister of Commerce & Industry. I must say it is an interesting reading material besides the ‘Number One Wisma Putra’ which I'd bought last year. Oh well, here it goes for the 1st blog entry this year.

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to meet Russell Lee, the author of the famous book of the True Singapore Ghost Stories at the Borders bookstore at The Curve Damansara. I’ve never thought I could see the man in person, though his face is covered with black stocking mask. His voice could clearly be heard among those who present there.

(The author's printed autograph on one of his books)

I used to read the book when I was in Primary & Secondary school back then as I consider it as a good English language reading material. His language is simple but manages to portray a good story out of it. But ever since I forfeit reading it, I’ve lost count the number of series of the book until recently that I’ve been informed that it has now reached Book No.18. So many years have passed. :-p

(Book No.1 - No.18 available for purchase being displayed at the side mounted shelf)

Oh well, it was great meeting the author of the book. First day of Raya is the day where my family will be going to my grandparents house & other granduncles houses. The elders will usually have a headstart visit by generations after them in order to pay respect & to seek forgiveness & blessings from them. From Atuk Besar to Tok/Pak Uteh to Tok Pa to Tok Neno's house (this year's at Unc.Zamak's house coz the house at Jalan Tun Ismail has been sold...a house that i like to visit besides Pak Uteh's house for its Johorean delicacies).

(This year my family's baju raya colour is Blue + Red = Johore? :-p)

Honestly speaking, this year's Hari Raya weren't so great compared to last year probably due to the difficulity to get firecrackers. I've been searching it high & low almost everywhere but to no avail. The customs did their job well in raiding a lot of firecrackers suppliers. (Sigh) what is a Raya without firecrackers? Luckily my cousin from JB manage to get some 'bunga api @ sparklers' to entertain the younger siblings.

(with Tok Nell at Pak Uteh's house)

Today is the 5th day of Raya & i've been going to many open houses already. An average of 4 houses per day. Eating all kinds of food served which varying from satay, lemang, johorean harissa / arissa, laksa johore, briyani, etc. I've eaten so much that i don't think i'm able to go Hari Raya-ing to lots of peoples house.

(With sis enjoying the food at Pak Uteh's house)

To many people... young mens & ladies alike. Hari Raya is great because the elders will give 'duit raya'. Some people will usually give only to small children & there are people who give more to young adults. Being a grown-up (but yet not fully independent in which my dad still have the duty of paying the zakat) i'm not much into asking the elders for duit raya, but more interested in seeing all my external uncles, aunts & cousins in which we dont get to see everyday.

Syawal is still around, more places to go & visits. My family booked 5 tickets to watch the Tun Dr Ismail’s musical at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre @ KLPAC which begins at approximately 8.30pm. We leave home by 6pm and reached there around 7.30pm. Arriving at the KLPAC, we met Unc. Muthanna & his family having some bite at the café. If the opening night were attended mostly by VIPs, that Saturday night was the night for Ismail & Neno’s nephew & grandnephew & grandnieces instead! The theater was performed at Pentas 1 upstairs. There were some memorabilia of the musical & some related books regarding the late Tun were selling there. My sis bought me the programme book which I find quite interesting reading it.

(L-R: Neno, Gopal, Ismail, Delia, Razak)

I remember about 3-4 months ago, KLPAC were having an audition on the Tun Dr Ismail musical. It was a small article printed on The Star / NST. I thought I could give it a shot until my dad deny me & told me to concentrate on my studies. (Sigh) Oh well, I could only hope for the best back then that the musical would really be something that I should be looking forward to once it’s ready to show to the public.

(Making ourselves comfortable before the show begins)

In this musical for the main characters were Malik Taufiq who plays as Tun Dr. Ismail; Tisha Zarina Zainal as Toh Puan Norashikin @ Neno; Tunku Alizakri Alias as Tun Abdul Razak; Lim Soon Heng as Frederick (Though I think it should have been Robert Kuok); Belinda Richardson as Delia (TDI’s crush at Aussie); Ari Ratos as Gopal (TDI’s butler?). The ensemble of the musical were not bad either, most of them have the experience in the stage performing previously. Credits & many claps to the Orchestra team who really blows the surround sound effect at us with a THX cinema quality performance!

(Ismail explaining to Neno his duty for the country)

The musical was something not to be missed, even for a nanosecond! I find Act 1 i.e. the first part of the musical very much to my liking. The scene of this part takes place at the Heroes Mausoleum at Masjid Negara KL; A street in KL; The Queen’s College JCR; and at the Frederick’s Party. The songs in this Act 1 include 1. Overtures 2. Come Out, You Cowards! 3. Today 4. Dream of Tomorrow 5.Come Out, Come Out! –Reprise 6. Do You Remember? (My fav. English song in this musical) 7. Kekasih 8. Paradise 9. Ish The Son Of Abdul 10. I Cant Go On 11. Party 12. Sahabatku 13. My Love (I love this song too!).

(Neno & Razak at the final part during Ismail's funeral)

The second part of the musical i.e. Act 2 were set in the darker times of the late Tun. Some of the scenes including A Street in KL; Ismail’s House (I’m going to miss this place ;-p); The Queen’s College; The Sultan Sulaiman Club; and the Heroes Mausoleum again where he was buried which marks the last part of the musical. The songs in Act 2 were not bad either, these includes 1. Entr’acte; 2. A New Beginning 3. Which Way Now? 4. Pak Uteh (The only Malay song that I love in this musical) 5. The Choice 6. He Loves Me / She Loves Me 7. Delia’s Vision 8. Kekuatan Jiwa (I think this was the edited part where the GPMS should hold responsible for causing TDI’s heart attack?) 9. Last Request 10. Finale.

(Ismail & Neno with their grandnephews & grandnieces)

At the end of the musical, my family had the honour of meeting Malik Taufiq & Tisha Zarina who plays the character of Ismail & Neno respectfully in person. Malik told us that they rehearse for 3 straight months to make the musical successful. We were told that he’s working in the F&B at The Curve in KL and theater is only his part time job! Tisha on the other hand gets a lot of complements from our relatives telling her that she has the uncanny resemblance with Tok Neno herself! Generally, I enjoyed watching this musical. It is so good that I might possibly go for a second-round!

Post Chelsea Samsung Asia Tour friendly vs Malaysia

The match between Malaysia vs. Chelsea yesterday kicks-off at approximately 8.45pm. I parked my car at the Tesco hypermarket not far from the stadium. It just takes me & my sis less than 15mins to walk to the stadium but its worth escaping the massive traffic jam & double parking at the parking lot near the sidewalk by the roadside.

(With my sis at the Shah Alam Stadium that night)

For the 1st time I’ve experience having being surrounded by 45,000 Blues fans gathering at one time at the same place. Not bad at all. Compared to their visits in 2003 where there’s only about 5,000 – 10,000 Blues fans attended the FAPL Asia Cup at Bukit Jalil in July 2003. The Blues have definitely established & expanded their Asian fans here & I’m damn proud of it.

(Malaysia's Amirulhadi dribbles past John Terry)

Malaysia played well yesterday eventhough we lost 2-0 to the English giant. It’s a match known to many as the David vs. Goliath when Malaysia currently ranked 166th according to the FIFA statistics (June 2008) while Chelsea FC ended runner-up in English Premier League 07/08, UEFA Champions League & English League Cup last season.

(Anelka high-fived Terry after scoring the 1st goal for Chelsea)

Chelsea’s (No.39) French striker Nicolas Anelka breaking the deadlock by scoring at the 26th minute during the 1st half passing by defender Norhafiz Zamani & goalkeeper Mohd Helmi while their English Defender (No.3) Ashley Cole scored in the 54th minute on the 2nd half. However, I must say that Malaysia defended their half very well to avoid more damage being done to their side. I guess they’re being motivated by ‘do anything to prevent conceded’ attitude. After all losing 2-0 is not that bad compared to our last meeting when we lost 4-1 to them. We even lost 2-0 to Arsenal during their visit in 1999 and a whooping 6-0 with Man Utd in 2001, and 4-0 to Birmingham City in 2003.

(Ashley Cole reacts after scoring the 2nd goal for Chelsea)

At the end of the game, it was announced that (No.8) Frank Lampard won the Man of the Match (MOM) award. I saw at cardboard held by Frank that the MOM award-winner will get the latest Samsung handphone PDA like? Correct me if I’m wrong but I think that’s what I saw. With regard to the MOM award, I think the ones that deserve it should have been the Malaysian goalkeeper Mohd Helmi Eliza Elias because he manage to block & save crucial shot by Deco’s volley, Anelka’s, Essien’s & Terry’s shot-on-target. Maybe the award was to make Chelsea’s ‘fan-favourite’ to stay longer at Stamford Bridge? Remember this, when we held the pro-beach soccer at Batu Buruk, Terrengganu last time Eric Cantona won the MOM award w/out even laying 1 goal on the opposition’s net!

(In front of the Chelsea-Adidas official merchandise booth)

After the match ended, I decided to pay a visit to the Chelsea FC official booth which sells all sorts of merchandise. There were lots of people who wanted to buy the merchandise but there were only about 3 staffs attended to the throng of customers there. (2 at the counter 1 checking the stocks) While I was waiting patiently queuing up to be serve…there were some Malaysians who take the opportunity to steal some merchandise including the keychains & 1 white training CFC jersey. There was nothing that I can do, it all happens so fast. But I can tell that those snatchers look like some desperate uneducated & unethical mat-pit of mat-rempits who takes an advantage on the sellers. I waited there for 15mins and since none the staffs were able to entertain me, I decide to walk off the jammed-packed area w/out buying anything.

(Celebrating with other Chelsea FC fans right after the game)

Anyway, I really enjoyed the night. Although I missed the opportunity to go to Pavillion’s Adidas store at Kuala Lumpur the day earlier to meet the players. Seeing them on field is enough to satisfy my Chelsea footy enthusiasm. I wish I’ll get to go to Stamford Bridge in the near future…hopefully during my brother’s graduation sometime in 2010 Insyallah @ God’s willing.

Thank you Chelsea FC for your memorable visit of the pre-season friendly match & congratulations to the Malaysia Team for yesterdays’ best effort against The Blues. Me & my brother Azad see a potential for the West London club to bloom. It's only a matter of time til reached its superstar club after successful wins under the management of Ruud Gullit, Gianluca Vialli, Claudio Ranieri & Jose Mourinho.

(The Stamford Bridge, home of the The Blues)

On September 1999, my family went to the UK because my dad had to attend a course in Cambridge University. The time we spend there was priceless & memorable. There i had the opportunity to visit Stamford Bridge ie Chelsea FC stadium but our visit there were spend on visiting more valuable visiting places such as Wembley Stadium, Hyde Park, Harrods, Royal Albert Hall, Picadilly Circus, etc. So we end up our visit to UK w/out visiting Stamford Bridge. How sad. But we didn't return emptyhanded. My brother got himself the Chelsea HOME jersey with No.9 Vialli on its back & I got myself Chelsea AWAY jersey with No.10 Casiraghi on the back of my jersey.

(Gullit's players during Vialli's era)

Ruud Gullit was an great player on the field & even a better manager on the bench. type='text'>THE International Court of Justice (ICJ) has declared that sovereignty over Middle Rocks belongs to Malaysia while Singapore has the right to govern P

The court said that sovereignty over South Ledge would belong to the "state in the territorial waters of which it is located".

It said the ICJ was constituted to determine sovereignty and not the maritime boundary.

There was hardly any reaction from both camps after ICJ vice-president Awn Shawkat Al-Khasawneh completed reading the majority judgment that took almost two hours.

It was a 12-4 ruling to declare that PBP belonged to Singapore, 15-1 to award Middle Rocks to Malaysia and 15-1 that sovereignty over South Ledge belonged to the state in the territorial waters of which it is located.

The decision is final and is not appealable.

Tracing historical events prior to 1953, the court said it was clear that the Johor Sultanate had sovereignty over the island, almost the size of a football field, from time immemorial.

It said the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824 determined the sphere of influence between Britain and The Netherlands.

The court said the Johor empire was divided into two: new Johor empire and the Riau-Lingga Sultanate.

"Historical facts, however, point that PBP belonged to Johor," the judgment said.

The court noted that Britain and, subsequently, Singapore conducted activities on the island.

It said the Colonial secretary of Singapore had written a letter dated June 12, 1953 to the British Adviser to the Johor Sultan, asking information about PBP.

"In a letter dated Sept 21, 1953, the acting State Secretary of Johor replied that the Johor government did not claim ownership of the island," it said.

The court said it considered the correspondence and found that Johor's reply showed that as of 1953, the state understood that it did not have sovereignty over PBP.

"That letter of denial was binding as it was an undertaking from Johor that she would not claim ownership of the island," it said.

The court also noted that even after 1953, Malaysia did not undertake any activities compared with Singapore.

It also did not protest when Singapore installed military communication equipment in 1977 and proposed reclamation plans to extend the island.

"The court concluded that the conduct of Singapore and its predecessor and the failure by Malaysia to respond, showed that by 1980 sovereignty over PBP had passed to the island republic.

" Malaysia and Singapore made oral submissions before the 16-member bench last November.

The Malaysian legal team was led by Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Mohamad, former ambassador to The Netherlands Datuk Noor Faridah Ariffin, Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, Sir Elihu Lauterpacht, Professor James Crawford, Prof Nicolaas Jan Schrijver, Professor Marcelo G Cohen and Penelope Nevill.

The dispute began when Singapore lodged a protest note in 1980 after Malaysia published a continental shelf map the previous year, showing the island as part of her territory.

In 1993, Singapore expanded her claim by including Little Rocks and South Ledge as part of its territorial waters.

The then prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir and his counterpart agreed to refer the dispute to the ICJ in 1994 after failing to resolve it through bilateral means.

-(NST Online)-
<img width='1' height='1' features.

The court heard lengthy submissions from both countries from Nov 6 to 23 last year.

Malaysia and Singapore had pledged to abide by the decision of the ICJ, the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, whose decision is final and not subject to appeal.

Both the Malaysian foreign minister, Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, and his Singapore counterpart, George Yeo, had said the outcome of the case would not strain ties between the two neighbours.

The dispute was brought to the ICJ after the two countries signed a special agreement in February 2003 requesting the court to rule over the dispute which had started in February 1980 when Singapore protested against a Malaysian map of its boundaries published in 1979 which showed Pulau Batu Puteh as belonging to Malaysia.

Singapores protest led to an exchange of correspondence and subsequently a series of inter-governmental talks in 1993 and 1994 at which the respective positions of the two countries were developed, but without any conclusion.

Subsequently, it was agreed that the dispute on Pulau Batu Puteh, the size of a football field which lies 7.7 nautical miles (nm) from the Malaysian mainland but 25.5nm over the sea from Singapore, and the two marine features should be decided by the ICJ.

During the proceedings Malaysia and Singapore had argued their cases backed by voluminous documents and eloquent submissions presented by each country which included international lawyers.

Singapore argued before the 16-member panel of judges that Pulau Batu Puteh was terra nullius (No Mans Land) when Britain took possession of it from 1847 to 1851.

The island republic contended that it had conducted various activities there for over 150 years to show that it had exercised sovereignty powers on Pulau Batu Puteh, which it calls Pedra Branca (White Rock in Portuguese) while Malaysia had not done so.

Malaysia brushed aside Singapores claim that the island was terra nullius, saying that the claim was flawed.

It stressed that Johor had the original title to the island and the two marine features since time immemorial and that Britain was merely given permission by the Johor Sultanate to build the Horsburgh lighthouse on the island.

Singapore was merely the administrator of the lighthouse built on Pulau Batu Puteh and activities that have taken place there were just acts required of a lighthouse administrator, Malaysia argued.

Britains activities in relation to the Horsburgh lighthouse and the island after 1851 were purely operational and did not reflect any intention to acquire sovereignty over the island, the Malaysian team said.

It said that Singapores activities in respect of the lighthouse did not amount to a conduct of sovereignty as claimed by the republic.

Malaysias international lawyer Sir Elihu Lauterpacht pointed out to the court that once it was established that Pulau Batu Puteh was not terra nullius in 1847, then it must have been regarded as subject to Johors sovereignty and that would be the end of Singapore's case.

This was because Singapore itself had declared that it rested its case upon the basis that it acquired the title to Pulau Batu Puteh by taking possession of the island as a terra nullius, he had submitted.

The Malaysian team was led by Tan Sri Abdul Kadir Mohamad, the Prime Minister's Adviser on Foreign Affairs, who was also the countrys agent for the case, while Datuk Noor Farida Ariffin, the Malaysian ambassador to the Netherlands, was the co-agent.

Others were Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail and Malaysias team of international lawyers.

They were, Sir Elihu and James Crawford, both professors in International Law at the Cambridge University; Nicolaas Jan Schrijver, professor of Public International Law, Leiden University; Marcelo G. Kohen, professor of International Law, the Graduate Institute of International Studies, Geneva; and Penelope Nevill, college lecturer, Downing College, Cambridge University.

Singapores team was led by Tommy Koh Ambassador-at-Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who was the republics agent for the case.

Also part of the team were its Deputy Prime Minister S. Jayakumar, Chief Justice Chan Sek Keong, Attorney-General Chao Hick Tin and the countrys team of international lawyers.

The ICJs verdict will be delivered by the Vice-President of the Court, Judge Awn Shawkat Al-Khasawneh, who was the Acting President in the case.

The 16 judges included two ad hoc judges appointed by Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia appointed Christopher S.R. Dugard of South Africa and Singapore, Pemmaraju Sreenivasa Rao of India.

-- BERNAMA

Malaysia New Cabinet Minister for 2008-2012

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Tuesday afternoon announced the 27-seat Cabinet line-up.

More than half of the ministers are new faces.

The full list:

Prime Minister:
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

Deputy Prime Minister:
Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak

Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department:
Tan Sri Bernard Dompok,
Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz,
Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi,
Datuk Mohd Zaid Ibrahim,
Datuk Amirsham Abdul Aziz

Deputy Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department:
Datuk Johari Baharom,
Datuk Dr Mashitah Ibrahim,
Datuk K. Colbie Caillat pronounced "Kol-bee Kal-lei" a young singer hailed from Malibu - California currently at the age of 22 years old made her debut concert appearence at the Laundry, The Curve, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. I first time saw her video clip appeared on tv few days ago for her hit single "Bubbly". She has a very beautiful voice similar to the like of Sheryl Crow. I manage to get 3 complimentary tickets to attend her concert.

(I am just behind them, Colbie & her band having a group talk)

The concert was scheduled to start by 8pm but it turn out to be later than we had expected as rain starts pouring at the area. People were searching for cover. Luckily me & my friends manage to take our shelter at the nearby restaurant. However, there are some so called "loyal-fans" still standing under the open sky & get themselves wet under the rain. Not to mentioned people who bring along umbrellas & rainjackets.

(She waves her hair in front of me! A beautiful shot taken)

At around 8.30pm the DJs of the organizers of Hits.FM start to warm up the crowd by doing some games to win prizes of Colby Caillat's CDs & posters. I've got her CD already so there's no need for me to get wet for another. By 9.15pm the sky starts to clear. I manage to get near to the stage. It was a long wait for her to come to the stage. Finally Colbie & her bodyguard arrived at around 9.30pm. I manage to get near her & took some picture of her & her band.

(Looking at me while performing on stage)

It was a beautiful performance by Colbie that night. She sang about 8 songs of the total 12 songs produced for her debut Coco album. There's also Hitz.FM winner named Prima (might spelled wrongly) who manage to sing along Colbie on the stage. Woah! She's 1 lucky girl! I think every other Malaysian would be very jealous of her because just how many people who manage to sing side-by-side with an international artise?

(Azza, Asari, Natalie-Hitz.fm DJ & Me enjoying ourselves)

Her concert finally come to an end around 10.30-11pm. Next is the authograph session with the fans. What really pisses me off here is that no fans are allowed to take any pictures with her! I should have taken a picture with her earlier. FYI, Malaysia has a very bad reputation as a country to have a fan-artist session. This not only happen to Colbie's concert but all other concert too! Arrogant organizers! The same thing happen to the Sunburst concert held on the 15th of March (yesterday).

(The signed CD album :-p )

Anyway, it took me 15mins on the queing line to finally meet meet her face to face. She signed my copy of her album Coco. I must say she's a very beautiful lady. She has a beautiful pair of green eyes & a wide smile that i cant just stop staring. She's a very humble & down to earth lady who deals with her fans very well. After having a moment with her i head to the exit of the signing area. I'm so happy that i attended her concert. Later that night me & my friends have a drink at Rasta & few hours later at Hartamas just to ease the hype that we've gone through. It was certainly a memorable night that will never be delete from my memory.

12th Malaysia General Elections...who did u vote?

Free & fair election...a phrase that has been ringging at the ears of most people in the world...

(The place where i cast my vote, my old primary school...mind u i'm the 1st batch of this school)

Yesterday was an epic battle between The Government (led by BN) against the Opposition aka Barisan Alternatif @ BA (comprised mainly of DAP, PAS, PKR) to win the hearts of many Malaysian to form the new government. And the outcome of that result is... a great battle scar towards the Barisan Nasional. The BA manage to take over Selangor, Penang, Perak & Kedah from the BN. While Kelantan remains the impenetratable stronghold on PAS @ BA. A humiliating defeat...most of the people would say as the BN won only due to simple majority & not by 2/3 majority. A great victory towards the BA indeed!

(Checking our names at the frostdesk reception before we're allowed to go inside to vote)

Me being a Subang Jaya resident since 1988...this is my 1st experience of casting a vote. A vital vote that could change the rule & administration for the country... my family & I cast our votes after having our lunch at home. We arrive at SKSS17 Subang Jaya (my former primary school 95-96) around 3pm. I manage to take a peek at the BN bench over there. There were lots of supporters coming from BN's component parties while the DAP bench only consisted about 3 staffs. Then i make my move to the polling station inside the school compound. There we met Mr.Kumar who was a traffic officer at the school since my batch. He looks healthy as I remember it 12 years ago!

(The entrance of the room where i cast my vote)

I'm voting at the No. Saluran 3. I guess this means that i'm the 3rd generation of the voters coz the elders seems to be at Saluran 1 & 2 (i might be wrong though). There after showing my IC & clarifying that i'm eligible to vote, the person from SPR with the list on her hand called my name out loud so that the pemerhati from each representative take note of my attendance. Then, they gave me 2 piece of papers to mark my choice on the Parliament & DUN's seat. After made my decision & marked my papers, i insert it inside the transparent box in the middle of the room. Everybody was watching my action,...hehehe....i know my votes are important for future of the country. After casting our votes, my family & I went to Subang Parade for hi-tea before we head home later by 6pm.

(The exit door after casting the vote)

It was said that the result of the election will be broadcast by 9pm at night. Most of the channels have their political analyst to commentate on the election. I must say that the result came out very slowly. My family & our neighbours had our barbeque near the enclave to enjoy the thrill of knowing the result but i must say the state of Selangor's result came out very slow. It bored me the whole night. How can they announce the result very late at night? Things were not even finish by 3am! I must say that this is the most ridiculous timeline of result given i've ever seen. The ESPN can announce & post the result of any sports better than our own channels!

At 1am i decides that its enough for my wait. I take a short nap til i realize that the unofficial result came by saying that Selangor has been won by the BA & not BN. Whoa!!! (shocking) Oh well, i hope that the newspaper tommorow will give a good review of the election. However, to my findings when my parents brought the Malay & English newpapers...there were still unofficial result of the election. This really pissed me off. I decide to checkout the SPR website & found the exact figure & result of the election...

And the result for DUN Subang Jaya (N-31) are...

Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan - DAP - 23,459 votes

Ong Chong Swen - BN - 9,608 votes

While the result where i'm voting for the (P-104) Parliament of Kelana Jaya are...

(L-R: Loh Gwo Burne, Lee Hwa Beng, Billi Lim)

Loh Gwo Burne - PKR - 30,298 votes

Lee Hwa Beng - BN - 25,267 votes

Billi Lim Peng Soon - Bebas/Independant - 1,895 votes

These were what the Subang Jayan voted yesterday.

The ruling party BN have lost 5 states to the BA! A shocking result. A political analyst said that the ruling party should do a post-mortem on why they losses so many seats on both Parliament & DUN. I have to agree with him. Malaysians these days are much more aware of their rights & keep a very watchful eyes on the people they vote.

Tommorow i'll be attending a post-mortem & review of the current Federal Elections held at ISIS Kuala Lumpur. I hope to get more news on the current situation. Anyway, i congratulate all the Malaysians for doing their part in the 12th Malaysia General Elections. You certainly make a difference!

The year of the Rat!

On the 21st February 2008 is the day i enter the 24th years of my life. Born on the year of the Rat according to Chinese Astrology, 2008 was said to be a promising year for me. Yet i dont know what the future holds. They said that a Rat should not be in their comfort zone in order to achieve greater success. Hmm...maybe they are right, i should work harder to make my dreams possible. Like the Adidas slogan said 'Impossible is Nothing'

They said that Rats who're born during the day are most likely to have a rich easy life while those Rats who're born during the night may have a life of hard work. People who're born in these years are said to be cheerful & kind. Rats tend to sleep all day & hunt all night. Hmm...i better check with my birth certificate on what time was i born.

Some famous people who're associated with the year of the Rats are William Shakespeare, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Winston Churchill & George Washington. I think i have these 4 peoples' characteristics.

The first William Shakespeare a poet. I love Arts & Literature! It makes my mind works at its best playing with words. I guess that's why i'm taking the Bachelor of Arts for my tertiary education.

The second Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart the musician & composer. For your information, i've tons of Orchestral & Scores musics from various composers not just Mozart but also Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Howard Shore, Nick Glenn Smith etc! To me the music is at it best with no vocals.

The third Winston Churchill an orator, statesman, Prime Minister & a British Army officer. I've an ambition to become a military officer due to passion & family background but i think i'd better go for the legal service or diplomatic core because a man with words holds the key to a successful future.

The fourth George Washington was said of all the Americans he was "first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen." Somehow i see myself having some of GW characteristics which is serving for the love of the country.

Other celebrities who're born in the same year of the Rat includes Prince Charles, rapper Eminem, actress Scarlett Johansson. Haha..., the Rat rule the street!

A stint at Borders Bookstore Malaysia

(The main entrace advertistment before the grand opening on the 6th Dec 2007!)

On the 19th November 2007 I started my working career with Borders Bookstore here at The Gardens MidValley, Malaysia. The Store Manager is Mr Ooi, The Senior Sort Manager from Seattle, US Sarah Florio & other newly transferred staffs from The Times Square & The Curve including: Sakina, Yuana, Erwin, Dorn, Danny, Syed, Kid, Dee, etc.

(The 1st day morning briefing by Sarah Florio & Mr Ooi)

On the 1st day sorting & shifting...we're more like a working labour. Taking all the packages from the trucks & bring it to the relevent section & sort it before we shelf it. There are a lot of sections here. During the sort period, i mostly handled with the Genre, Travel, Cooking & Kids section.

(Me not on picture & Najmi, Naim, Sharina & others having training on the TLU system)

The opening was origially planned on the 6th. Due to our high commitment, we managed to put things beyond schedule which means that we only concentrating on the shifting with the remaining days. Nearing the final days before the opening, our main concern was the Mentor (chinese books) & Basheer (arts & design books) which were lease to foreign distributor to handle were seems to be working very slowly. Not to mention Starbucks too! But in the end, all turn out well.

('Winnie the Poos?' Its the first time i ever handled a cash register. But as time goes on it turns out well. Only to find out later when i closed my bay, it was found that i short 30 cents. Heck. I got the opportunity to meet my extended relatives and share some thoughts with them. Nowdays we all have different path lies in front of us. Some are doing law, others are doing public administration & administrative science, geology, medic, economics, business, physioteraphy, accounts etc. Some also were not here coz they're pursuing their studies overseas in which Aidilfitri is not a public holiday to their country like my brother is the UK & my cousins in Australia. Oh well, life still goes on & i just hope that they all have a very good Aidilfitri over there.

(the Johorean delicacy being served to visitors at the open house)

Being part of the strong Johorean family...serving laksa Johore & Arissa (the turkish delicacy) is a must when there's a festive season's coming. Of course there's also satay, ketupat, lemang etc. being serve along the way but i guess its just tradition for the host to show our very arts of culinary.

So today, being the 3rd day of Hari Raya i've went to about 10 Open Houses. Oh it's such a wonderful month to eat all you can but i'm afraid that men do have their capacity in their stomach. Sure it seems like nothing to most people in another country but for Malaysia sending its first astronaut is 1 hell to scream about. The lucky chap who get to travel outside earth is Dr. Sheikh Muszafar whom if i not mistaken a medical lecturer at the local university. He was competing with Dr. Faiz who's a dentist at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Medical Kor but luck was on his side to get such honour.

(The Russian space station)

Hari Raya is just around the corner, while most people in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur were busy buying stuff to prepare to celebrate Aidilfitri by going to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman or Chow Kit Road or anywhere alike, our astronaut is not going to celebrate it with his family like most muslims on that much-awaited day. So since he's the only muslim on board of the Soyuz starcraft, i guess he'll be celebrating his Aidilfitri up there...huhu...no ketupat & lemang for u ah Sheikh this time.

(Dr.Sheikh & 2 others from Team A in spacesuit)

Oh well, like most of the people would say "Experience is what makes u different from others". Where thousands of Malaysians applied to get such experience, Dr.Sheikh is sure one lucky fellar. Funded by our very own govenment worth RM30mil++ with a good relationship with the government of Russia, i dont think any Malaysian can afford to go to space even as a tourist. I'm not sure about business tycoon but it sure takes a lot of money to go up there.

Anyway, i'd like to congratulate for u Dr.Sheikh & Dr.Faiz for your achievement where only you who have gone to a place where no Malaysian had ever been. Salute!

10th SEPTEMBER 2007 - UiTM ANNUAL LAW DINNER

(having a chat with Farah Yasmin while the others enjoy themselves at the dancehall)

Gold & Glamorous, that's the theme on the night of the Annual Law Dinner this year which cost each of us student a whoopin' RM85 per person. A price which is kinda steep for a student to fork out their allowences for such event. Held at Concorde Hotel - Shah Alam, the event drew only VIPS from certain legal firms.

(Vince Chong from AF1 give his best performing the night)

The event started around 8.30pm attended with a number of crowd not more than 350 people. With the bad sound system, we can't hardly hear any speech given on stage but like they said...the show must go on. The meal was a chinse-style dinner with 7 different dishes. Sharks-fin soup is the one i enjoyed the most though it looks like a sweet & sour crabmeat.

(with Jess on that nite, didn't go to her house for the after-party...heck)

Entertainment that night was performed Alif (the winner of 'So You Think You Can Dance') and by Vince from the Akademi Fantasia season 1 champion. Then followed by our faculty's performers & some lucky draws. Huhu...lucky me as my card number 200 was called up as 1 of the winner. What did i won? Well, its a thick book for the use of the LLB Hons studies which cost around RM150++ at the market. Oh well, at least i didn't get home empty-handed.

(with Rifhan & Fadz just before the night ended)

The official event ends around 12 midnight but the host extended it to around 1.30am with the dancefloor becoming 1 hell of a nite to go clubbin' for. Besides, all classes on the next day are cancelled by order of the Dean & will only begin at 2pm. Huhu! The hosts wore the brown coloured johore tailored dress matching the surrounding props whitch shows some element of earth & wood and they greeted the large crowd with great hospitality.

(Kak Fiza entertaining Mak Ziah, Unc. Despite being the thickest book of all its edition, the screening of the film is no more than 2 hours. Sigh, but still really enjoyable watching it. Not much of new magics but the fighting scene is quite mesmerizing!

(The Dumbledore's Army )

The Dumbledore Army formed by Harry, Hermoine & Ron exist due to the presence of Professor Umbridge appointment as the new teacher for the Defence Against The Dark Arts. She's appointed by the Ministry of Magic as the new teacher for the subject as to avoid the students from learning magic to defend themselves against the evil creatures. Heck, by far she's the most hated teacher in Hogwarts.

(Luna Lovegood practicing her skills of producing the Patronus charm)

In this episode, there's a new girl in town. No i'm not talking about Cho Chang. She's Luna Lovegood acted by Evanna Lynch. Little do i know about this character but she seems to be a good additional members to Dumbledore's army squad. Luna also have a good control of power & project the Patronus charm in a form of a snow rabbit. He's seen to be paired with Neville Longbottom in a scene fighting the Death Eaters for a while. I think I liked her character, she really gives the spice in this episode.

(The fight against the Death Eaters)

The wizardry fighting scene in the movie finally comes after an hour of the screening. 6 members consist of Ron, Luna, Neville, Hermoine, Harry & Ginny went on for a mission to retrieve something valuable in the secret room. Headed by Harry, the 6 lads & lass put their practise of their skills to a test. Against the Death Eaters they wouldn't stand much chance but they really give a good fight against them.

My simple conclusion is that the movie is a good one to watch though it could have expanded the length of the story as being the thickest book of the editions. My advise is, watch it. You wont regret it!

A brief moment with HRH Raja Nazrin .

15th JULY 2007 - Midvalley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur - Around 3-5pm

I went to Midvalley Megamall MPH to search for some law books. To my suprise i bumped into His Royal Highness Raja Nazrin who's the Crown Prince of the state of Perak. He was there at the shelf browsing some latest books & the book on Tun Dr Ismail. His bodyguard was there holding a basket just in case if his highness wanted to buy something there.

I was stunned for a moment. Questioning myself..."That's Raja Nazrin, what's he doing here? The function is still 3 weeks ahead...shopping i guess.."

Then after a while, i decide to take this opportunity to talk to him. I presented myself and told that i'm a law student from UiTM. I also mentioned that Tawfik Ismail is my uncle. He paid attenttion to that statement & questioned me.
"Yes i know him very well, how are u related to him" asked Raja Nazrin.
"Well, Unc.Tawfik's mother Toh Puan Neno & my grandfather Captain Adnan are siblings". I said.
Then i asked, "Raja Nazrin, you'll be coming to the function at University Malaya to officiate the Tun Dr Ismail's book on 3rd August right?"
He replied, "Yes I will, how about u? Will u be there? The parade will be held at at UiTM's (University Technology of MARA) and is expect to be witnesses by many family and current active in service or retired militarymen. This is the 2nd time UiTM host the sovereign parade since last 2 years which was headed by the 12th YDPA i.e. Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail who was a graduate from the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst which is the place to groom future leaders in not just military but other fields too.

Being in the 8th Intake of the UiTM Naval Reserve Officer Training Unit, my batch will graduate their training and will be promoted as being the 2nd Leftenant in the Reserve Navy. However, being a law student I have to drop my military training after 1 year to pursue in my studies of reading the law in the university as it takes too much time training as compared to my studies. I missed so much of the military life i had during my earlier years in the unversity. So tommorow I will not be promoted as a 2nd Leftenant in the reserved military service. However, i'm still proud of my friends who manage to finish it. Congratulations mate!

Being the sole law student in the university to enter the reserve navy is hard enough when u had no friends (within the law faculty) who had the same interest in the military. Often my friends at the faculty asked me, "Why do u want to enter the military? The strict training is hard for u as being a law student u know? How many hours do u think you'll spend a day studying than marching in the field and all those phisical training?" These questions and phrases that are often spoken from my law student friends who would rather have a relax life at the hostel.

I don't know why I love the military. Most probably because of passion...and most probably because it is in the blood of my paternal family to enter the service that is considered by many to be the 1/3 of the noble occupation and oldest in the world! The other 2 are Doctors & Teachers. U see, my grandfather Captain Adnan Seth served the army his whole life. His passion in serving the country by joining the military makes him quit his studies at SRP level and join the army as a Private. He rose to the ranks and had training in England and finally retired with the rank of Captain. Due to this the YDPA conferred him the award medal of AMN (Ahli Mangku Negara) which is the 5th Class Order of the of the nation's recognition on the person.

Next is my granduncle i.e. my grandfather's younger brother General Ghazali Seth who after completed his Form 6 at the English College at Johor went to follow his brother to serve the military. He wanted to join as a Cadet Officer but accidently registered himself as a Recruit. Eventhough he was a bit disappointed, he went to raining without regret. It was said at that time the training to be an Officer Cadet are only available in England. After 2 years serving as a Non-Commission Officer (NCO). His superior recognize his dedication and gave him a shot to be an Officer Cadet & have him train at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a 2nd Leftenant in England by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth of United Kingdom. He came back to Malaysia and serve the Royal Malayan Army and end his brilliant career as a 4-Star General as the 7th the Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces.

My grandfather & my granduncle weren't the only brothers who had entered the army. My distant relatives, the Leftenant General Jaafar Onn and his brother Captain Tun Hussein Onn had their stint in the army. Though Hussein Onn who was commissioned at India Military Academy at Dehra-Dun and retired early with the rank as a Captain, he went to join his father into politics and ended his magnificent career as the 3rd Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Then came my uncle Arazi Adnan Seth who entered the military after completed his secondary education also join the army. Currently held as the rank of Major, he had serve the army at many division in his career. The Ministry of Defence once sent him to the United States Pentagon to learn more about the American Army. Following his father's footsteps, it is expected that he will end his career and retired as an armymen.

The last of the editions...Me. I love the military so much that i wish i had a chance to enter the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst or the Brittania Naval College at Dartmouth. However, since i'd entered UiTM as a law student and wishes to experience some of the military life, i join the Reserve Navy. I think i like the Navy better than Army because they like to keep things clean. They went to the sea to see the world and protect the nationals territorial waters while the Army guarded the ruler's territory in the jungle. As an experienced swimmer, i found the Navy better suits me than the Army. Anyhow, either Army or Navy. They both served the Malaysians and its ruler in an honourable manner.

So u see, when my colleagues at the law faculty asked me why i wanted to join the military eventhough they are paid lesser than the other civil servants. I told them that they're in my blood. The warrior's heart that pumps the honourable blood in my veins explains a lot. So even when i will not be commission as a 2nd Leftenant before the YDPA, I'll still held my head high and celebrate with my friends their commissioning tommorow. Maybe its not my rezeki to join the military now. Maybe 1 day when I had my chance again, i'll try to complete what i left behind.

A famous english proverb once told...

"When God said YES, he will grant u your wish.

When God said NO, he will grant u something better.

When God said WAIT, he will grant u the best! In his own time..."

JRR TOLKIEN - THE CHIDREN OF HURIN

The stories of the Elves, Men and the Evil beings of the Middle Earth are all now set in the JRR Tolkien's latest book called the 'Children of Hurin'. The book was edited by his 3rd child Christopher Tolkien due to the incomplete work left behind by his father.

I'd just bought this book from a book fare exhibition in KLCC for the price of RM59.90 where it was retailed at RM79.90. A good price offered for a good book from a great author! This story is the continous unaccounted epidoes in The Silmarillion, The Unfinished Tales, & The History of Middle Earth (12 episodes).

As a fan of the story of The Hobbits + The Lord Of The Rings (FOTR/TTT/ROTK) i find this book interesting to enchance my knowledge on the story made assimilated to the story from his (JRR Tolkien) experience during the World War 1. After reading his 2 earliest work, i just can't take my eyes of the story of the elves, the numenoreans etc. Thus making me more LOTR hype! Everytime i went for an outing, if i find anything from JRR Tolkien's work or any merchandise relating to it. I'd try to buy it to satisfy my hunger & interest in the story. Heck, there goes my pocket money. Hehe.

If there's one thing that i'd a very high respect for Professor JRR Tolkien is because he was a Professor at the University of Oxford. The place where they breed respectable intellect in numerous field. Thankfully this site survived the German bombing therefore can be accounted at one of the best city to be at!

N'way, i'm going to spend my good time reading it now. For those who haven't got their copy on this, get it only if u're interested in the JRR Tolkien's previous work.

My precious Notebook!

Behold! Back then when i was at school, the concept of giving gifts to teachers as a token of appreciation was commonly done. I remember having fun attending school to meet my friends & teachers everyday but the things i hate most is when what they teach does not come into our mind. Different teachers teach different formula...usually...tuition teachers are the best as they give full concentration to us and improve our weaknesses in certain topics.

The sad story about Malaysian education is that, we're too exam-oriented based. I think this is practicable in certain subjects of arts including history and language...but what about science subjects? (Maths excluded)I enjoy subjects like Living Skills (Kemahiran Hidup), where we can learn through experience. However, i see this only being done for those who are taking International Bac as a preparation for studying overseas.

Back then during primary & secondary school years...mothers oftenly compared result of their children with the neighbours, closed families children etc. To some elders, it is to shows that whose bloodlines are better. I often hate those people who likes to make comparisons & proud big time if their children often outstanding the others. I believe that children are unique in a different ways. Some may be good in Arts subjects while the others might score better in Science subjects. Suprisingly some parents would like to compare their children in the Tertiary Education despite enrolling in different courses! Oh dear...cant they realize that at Tertiary Education level each courses difficulties are different to one another? But whatever it is...that's what makes us unique! We're not some clone troopers or something!

Today, i wished some of my lecturers a Happy Teachers day...hey, they're in a way a teachers too right? I've also bought some greeting card but unable to send to them today due to unforseen circumstances. Maybe i'll send it next Monday instead! Here are some of my lecturer's i'd like to wish a Happy Teachers Day online though i wonder if they're going to read this...oh well here it goes....

*Not in favouritism order but randomly typed.

Current Teacher

Dr. Musrifah Sapardi - Dean of Law Faculty

Prof. Rahmat Mohd - International Law lecturer + Deputy Vice Chancellor

Pn. I didn't ask for this but my father brought it to replace my laptop which will be given to my sis to be used for her studies at the university when the session started. Woohoo! Lucky me!

13th May - I'd registered myself as a valid voter at a booth near a Subang Jaya shopping complex held by the Malaysian Election Commission @ Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR). It is fancy how the SPR work these days to get every people within a residency to be registered & to vote when the time comes. Oh well, since Pak Lah has signalled the public that the Federal Election will be held if we reached 1,300 CI (Composite Index) at the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange...there's a lot to be done by department and ministries at various levels. Romours had it that the 'jentera-jentera' election is on a standby, waiting for Pak Lah's announcement. Hahaha...a 2nd term for Pak Lah begins...

I understand that this same day but on the year 1969 was the famous racial riot issue emerged in some parts of Malaysia due to the lack of understanding among Malaysian citizens. It was this historic moments too that Tun Dr Ismail was called back to politics to help settle the issue that is out of hand by the cabinet ministers at that time headed by Tun Abdul Razak. Yep, Tun Dr Ismail in the sense of obligation towards the king & country help Tun Razak in dealing with the menace and won the heart of the people of Malaysians back then.

Anyway, i had a great weekend overall & looking forward to fill my weekdays before my Intersession studies begins on the 21st May!

Finding Myself In The History Of The Universe

Often i wonder about the age of time...since the arriving of Adam & Hawa (Adam & Eve) upon the face of the Earth to the day we are now. How many years have that been? How we are linked to every person next to us. Whether it is our family...neighbour...or the unknown stranger that we passed by without speaking a word when we walk at the night market.

One fine day when i manage to find myself some time to open the family album, i came across the pictures of some people whom i've never met since the day i was born. Those were the pictures of my great grandparents. Capture in the frame of time...immortalized to a piece of paper to be viewed and remembered by those who were closed to them...and to be kept in the history of of the faculty of the mind of their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and generations after them.

Then i realize that humans like us have a limited lifespan with regards to many things that is yet to explored in this world. The important of learning and to save a record of daily achievement that we have done so that when we looked back to the history of time...we are satisfied to what have we achieved that makes us what we are now.

As far as the history of my life and my bloodlines are concerned...almost every one of us has left their name remembered in the history of time. Too bad that we dont have a last name to support our evidence but this can only be remedied from the pictures taken and the DNA which is a valid identification of our existance.

Since young, my parents often brought me to meet my grandparents, granduncles & grandaunties, and generations after them. According to my dad, we must meet them as they were what were are like now in relation to our relationship of siblings and the main family. Not meeting them is a selfish manner one can show to them and it is not what we should do in respect of the elders in the members of the family.

As the day come to pass, each of us are getting more busier, every one of us got things to do with their time. Uncles and aunties are busy with their working careers and began to live at some place which is near to their workplace. Cousins pursuing their education at the tertiary education. Their younger siblings heading to school etc. So the only time that we can meet and have a good chat is only during the festive month of Hari Raya aka Aidilfitri which falls on the month of Syawal according to the Islamic calendar ie the month after we make an effort of fasting for a month during Ramadhan ie the holiest month of the Islamic calendar.

Last Raya, i manage to talk to my granduncle about my project to make a family tree. The reason of why i'm doing this is not only to get to know my relatives better but to keep as a record for the generations after me so that they will remember where they had come from. Tok Uteh were delighted to hear such thing and looking forward in supporting me with the project. Thus begin a journey and a mission for myself to make a long list of scroll which contain the family tree of my bloodlines.

Some might not bothered with the project but i see it a great respect and an obligation towards my family so that they will not forget what history had written or bear witness of our achievement in life.

Thus begin project "Bloodlines: Their Name & History That They Left Behind"
